Online Q&A Sessions

These sessions are ideal for any parent, whose child is serious about auditioning for drama school. Those that have read the book  ‘So, Your Child wants to go to Drama School?’  will know that Amanda speaks from experience and guides you through the whole process in a lighthearted and down to earth style.

From your initial conversation about wanting to go to drama school, right through to moving out and starting day one.

  • Need to know more about the different types of schools, courses, and qualifications?
  • Need clarification on scholarships, bursaries and grants?
  • Need advice on timelines, deadlines and term dates?
  • Want to know more about securing accommodation?
  • How? What? When Why? and of course How Much?

Many of these sessions are arranged by school drama departments, theatre schools, dance schools and vocal coaches. If you feel that a session will benefit you and your child, please direct your child’s teacher to this page, so they can arrange a session on your behalf. Shared with others, this usually works out at approx. £5 per head!

“Parents at The Thomas Hardye School had a wonderful session with Amanda, where she treated us as friends and welcomed us with wide arms into the complicated world of drama school applications. Amanda’s session was informative, and her advice was honest.

All of our parents found the session useful in one way or another and we would highly recommend Amanda to anyone whose child is considering their place in the performing arts industry. We can’t wait to have Amanda back to work with the next generation of parents soon.”
